Material Flow Cost Accounting ISO: 14051 (MFCA) – 1st Day Anchor Faculty Mr. Hiroshi Tachikawa

Mr. Hiroshi Tachikawa, Anchor Faculty, Material Flow Cost Accounting ISO: 14051 (MFCA) in his first day presentation firstly requested all the participants for their self introduction. Thereafter, Mr. Chandan Mukherjee gave brief presentation about NTR Pvt. Ltd. Mr Hiroshi described in detail about Material Flow Cost Accounting system. The GDP growth of Japan had a negative impulse on environment which instigated them to analyse production procedure from environment view point. Conventional approach for environment (End of Pipe) was changed to MFCA approach for environment. More than 300 companies all over the world are practising MFCA. As per MFCA, all sorts of material inputs are looked into as Positive Product as well as negative products. The materials which go to the customers are looked as positive one and which does not are treated as material Loss (Negative). In his case study, business sustainability was also discussed. After lunch, the participants assembled in four groups (A, B, C & D) and participated in group discussions, different quiz answer session and performing different assigned tasks. The first day programme was very interactive and interesting too.
