The 12th Annual Meet and Neogi Group Award 2013-15 was held on 26th March, 2016 Saturday in the factory premises. The candle was lighted by Shri Dhruva Pada Neogi. One minute silence was observed in the memory of Late Sambhu Nath Manna, an employee of Neogi Group. The programme was attended by a large no. of employees and their family members. A no. of artists from all age group presented their songs in the programme. There was presentation of awards for the employees of the company who have excelled in performance in different areas. The sons, daughters and children of the employees were also awarded for their excellence in education, song, sports etc. “Quiz Contest” was the most interesting event in the evening and it generated a lot of enthusiasm amongst all.

National Innovation Summit, 2016 (NIS) was organized by National Institute of Technology, Silchar from 10th March to 12th March, 2016. Neogi Technologies and Research Private Limited participated in the festival. The festival was unique in its own type. The festival was inaugurated by Prof. N.V.Deshpandey, Director, NIT with the lighting of candle. Prof. Deshpandey along with Dr. Wasim Arif, Coordinator of the National Innovation Summit wanted to highlight “Make in India” project, the idea of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India through this grand programme. Prof. Deshpandey and his team were very cordial to promote the different innovative ideas of the participating members. He was very much interested to entrust Neogi Technologies and Research Private Limited with some of his innovative ideas for the purpose of execution. He held a very serious and fruitful discussion with Shri Samir Kumar Neogi, Managing Director NTR in this regard. The Volumetric Fuel Dispensing Meter of NTR had a very good impression in the festival and consequently NIT purchased one pc. of the same for fuelling its 6 nos. 500 KV Generator to monitor the accounting of the dispense of diesel in a more accurate and hassle free manner. This will help to promote our products in newer areas of business. The hospitality and the professionalism of NIT team will inspire the innovators in the future.
