Ltd. participated in 'Program On Fundamentals of Intellectual Property and Related Transactions for Start Ups & Entrepreneurs " organized by Andhra Pradesh Technology Development & Promotion Centre, AP with CII Kolkata, at The Bengal Club , Kolkata on 10 October 2017. The Welcome Address was delivered by Mr.DipankarChakrabarti, Co-Chairman, CII, CII Startup& Innovation Task Force & Executive Director-Advisory Risk & Quality Management Leader, Pricewaterhouse Coopers, India. Mr. Sanjay Bhattacharjee, Head & Deputy Controller of Patents & Designs, IPO, Kolkata, Dr.AnirbanMazumdar, Associate Processor, NUJS, Dr. S K Mitra,Ex.Deputy Controller of Patents& Designs and others were present in the session. The topics discussed were “Understanding IP,Types of IP,Difference between novelty and originality,Terms of Protection and Myths about IPR.", "Patent filling Procedures & Practices, Claim Construction,how it differs from design filling and Costs,Trademark Filling”. The session was very interesting and participative.

Mr. Arijit Neogi and Mr. Soumitra Neogi of Neogi Group of Companies were present in the opening of Electronic Fuel Dispenser which was installed for dispensing lubricants from BPCL Outlet in Domjur, Howrah. The customer was very much satisfied with the performance of the two machines which were installed in a very small space thereby reducing a lot of hazards. Moreover, the exact dose of lubricant dispensing helped the customer to avoid the manual handling of the same and thus reducing the loss of lubricant almost to zero value. This dispensing machine has opened up a huge potential for sale of such machines to other BPCL as well as other oil companies outlet.
