Neogi Technologies And Research Pvt. Ltd. organized an Awareness Programme on Zero Defect & Zero Effect (ZED) by Quality Council of India sponsored by MSME-DI, Kolkata on 20th March, 2017 at 3 p.m. in the conference room of NTR Pvt. Ltd. Mr. Soumen Kr. Neogi, Sr. Partner, The South Point in his inaugural address stressed on the importance of ZED for the MSME units in India. Mr. Amit Sengupta, Faculty, QCI in his PPT presentation told in detail about the different implications of ZED programme and the ways to participate in the programme. The session was highly interactive. In the end, at the request of Mr. Sandip Kumar Neogi, Director, NTR Pvt. Ltd. Mr. Prabir Dey gave vote of thanks to all present in the session.

Neogi Technologies And Research Pvt. Ltd. participated in an One Day Workshop on Green House Gas Emission Reduction through Efficient O & M of Thermal Equipment. The programme was supported by DIPP, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India and was held at The Golden Park, Kolkata on 22nd March, 2017. Mr. Soumen Kumar Neogi, Sr. Partner, The South Point and Mr. Sayan Das and Mr. Abhisek Ghosh of NTR Pvt. Ltd. joined the session. Mr. P. Chakraborty, Regional Director, National Productivity Council in his inaugural speech told about the different areas where the emission of Green House Gas is gradually increasing to an alarming limit. He urged all the participants to be cautious about the effect of GHG and subsequent steps for its remedial measures. In the technical session, the points for effective utilization of solar energy to prevent GHG emission along with the application of Boiler software was also discussed.
