Neogi Technologies And Research Pvt. Ltd. organized a workshop on GST in collaboration with Human Resource Development Cell, Directorate of Commercial Taxes, Govt. of West Bengal on 24th June, 2017. Mr. Sandip Kumar Neogi Director, Mr. Surojit Neogi, Director, Neogi Technologies And Research Pvt. Ltd. and others were present in the session. Mrs. Nandini Ghosh, Sr. Jt. Commissioner and Mr. Arunangsu Mukherjee, Dy. Commissioner were the main speakers. Mrs. Ghosh in her lucid presentation explained GST from various view points. The second part was the practical demonstration by Mr. Mukherjee about submission of Return and different forms in GST. Quite a godd no. of participants from different MSME units was present in the session. The session was highly useful for all.

Mr. Mohan Sadhu, Officer in Charge and Mr. DhananjayMajhi of Baruipur Fire Brigade visited NTR Pvt. Ltd. on 21st June, 2017. Mr. Sandip Kumar Neogi, Director, Neogi Technologies And Research Pvt. Ltd. accompanied them in their visit in the factory. There was a short spell awareness session wherein the concerned officers told about their observations about the different safety measures adopted by the company. The session was attended by the members of the safety committee and all the security personnel of NTR Pvt. Ltd. While the visiting officers of Fire Brigade told that considerable no. of Fire Extinguishers were available in the factory but more stress should have to be given for usage of CO2 based extinguishers. They also pointed out the opportunities for improvement in safety measures.
