Mr. Sandip Kumar Neogi, Director, Neogi Technologies & Research Pvt. Ltd. was invited in “Innovation, 2019” organized by Confederation of Indian Industry (ER) at ITC, Sonar, Kolkata on 16th March, 2019. NTR Pvt. Ltd. was one of the Sponsorer of the said event. Mr. Abhijit Roy, Managing Director & CEO of Berger Paints India Ltd. in his opening address mentioned that the platform would give opportunities for the start ups and students to showcase their innovative projects and ideas to the decision makers of different industries which in turn would help the investors to consider those ideas for adoption or supporting those ideas with funds. Mr Vinay Verma told about the process of innovation and linking those innovations with the pain areas of the customers. Mr Dipankar Chakraborty in his concluding remarks of the first session mentioned that each failure leads to improvement. Mr. Sandeep Tandon, National Project Manager, UNIDO in his speech described the objectives of GCIP (Global Cleantech Innovation Programme). Mr. Alok Mukherjee talked about the leadership and process of creating an environment of innovation. Mr. Koushik Mondal Chief Strategist and Consultant on Inorganic & Organic Business Strategies addressed about Entrepreneurship Thinking.

At the invitation of The Officer –in- Charge Naval Liaison Cell, Mr. S Chatterjee and Mr. T K Sen of Neogi Technologies & Research (P) Ltd participated in “Make in India -Naval Aviation-Industry Interaction” on Friday,15th March 2019 at 900hrs at William Magor Hall ,Bengal Chambers Building, Kolkata. Rear Admiral VM DOSS, VSM, ACNS (AM),THQ, MOD(Navy) had graced the occasion as Chief Guest. He briefly narrated the importance of Indigenization in Naval Aviation and explained the Naval Aviation Indigenisation Road Map (2017 -2022). The welcome address was given by OI/ CNLC (BKP) and ACNS (AM) gave the keynote address. The detailed presentation about Registration, Procedure, Procurement etc. was given by CMDE(APP),ICC (KOCHI) ,ICC (GOA) and ICC NASDO. COM. Omikrishan - Kochi, Com GS. Sandeep (Goa) and Com Rathor (NASDO) informed that presently 550 items are ready/ marked for Indigenization. Any SME or interested Companies are most welcome to participate / produce. It was also mentioned that around INR 10 Crores is ready as “Innovation Fund “under DRDO. A VCD was handed over to all guests for detail Study about “Naval Aviation “ - Prospect and Opportunity.
