Neogi Technologies & Research Pvt Ltd

The students with Economics Advance of Jogamaya Devi College, Kolkata visited the factory of NTR Pvt. Ltd. on 24th April, 2018. Mr. Samir Kumar Neogi, Managing Director and Mr. Sandip Kumar Neogi, Director, NTR Pvt. Ltd. were present. The visit was intended to give a preliminary exposure to the management of an industry unit, considered as an extension to the university curriculum.

The team went through the factory and looked into the different operations. Later on, a PPT presentation on 5S, 3M and Waste Management was given by Mr. Goutam Basu, Mr. Susital Mishra, Mr. Sayan Das and Mr. Abhisek Ghosh. The students found the programme to be very effective and interesting.

Neogi Technologies & Research Pvt. Ltd. organized a session on Fire Fighting processes and related Mock Drill on 14th April, 2018 in the factory premises. A team of West Bengal Fire & Emergency Services from Sonarpur Fire Service Station initially gave a lecture on the processes of fire fighting to some of the selected employees of the factory. Mr. Sandip Kumar Neogi, Director, Neogi Technologies & Research Pvt. Ltd. was present in the session. There was a practical demonstration of the use of Fire Extinguishers by the employees of the West Bengal Fire & Emergency Services just out side the factory gate wherein all the employees of NTR Pvt. Ltd. were present. The workshop was very interesting. Mr Sandip Kumar Neogi handed over a token of appreciation to all the Govt. personnel present in the session.
