EEPC India, Kolkata organized an Interactive Session with the Union Minister of Commerce of Myanmar and High Profile Ministerial Delegation on 12th June, 2023 in EEPC Kolkata office. Mr. P K Shah, Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Trade Policy & WTO and Past Chairman, EEPC India in his welcome address mentioned about the recent development of Bi Lateral Trade of India and Myanmar in Indian currency and that of Myanmar. He also mentioned about the upcoming potential of business transaction of the two countries in the light of this development. Mr. U Aung Naing Oo, Hon’ble Union Minister of Ministry of Commerce, The Republic of the Union of Myanmar in his address mentioned about the type of the business presently running in between India and Myanmar. He also told about the products which are being exported from Myanmar to India presently. He told about the difficulties being faced in export business from Myanmar through USD and Euro currency. He was also hopeful about the business potential in this newly developed proposal of bilateral trade. Mr. Tarun Sen and Mr. Pinaki Chakraborty were present on behalf of Neogi Technologies and Research Pvt. Ltd. The session was very much interesting and highly interactive also.
