Confederation of Indian Industries organised CII Annual Business Summit 2024, Co – creating the future responsibility, Role of Business on 17th and 18th May, 2024 in New Delhi. This event was attended by many eminent personalities including Hon’ble Ministers, Secretaries of different Ministries, Notable Industrialists, Officials /Speakers from India and abroad. There were also more than 3000 participants/representatives from various fields/industries from different parts of our country. A no. of speakers highlighted the growth path for Indian and Global Market

Hon’ble Ministers of Govt. of India Ms. Nirmala Sitaraman, Hon’ble Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs and Mr. S Jayshankar, Hon’ble Minister of External Affairs were the eminent speakers in the session. Shri Suman Bery, Vice Chairman, NITI Ayaog, Shri N K Singh, Member, High Level Committee on Simultaneous Elections, Co Convenor G 20 Expert Group on MDB Reforms, President, Institute of Economic Growth and others were also present in the session.

The points of discussion mainly concentrated on the different reforms taken up to lead India to the status of world’s third largest economy within the next three years/ comprehensive advancements that the country has made across a range of sectors, including healthcare, education and skill development, manufacturing technology, among many others/ India, the world’s most populous nation and fastest-growing emerging economy has firmly established its presence on the global stage. With growing economic prowess as well as diplomatic and soft power, India holds a prominent position in the world arena/ The democratization of entrepreneurship through digitization has revolutionized the business landscape, empowering individuals to launch ventures with minimal resources and access global markets from inception. E-commerce platforms, online marketplaces and software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions exemplify the transformative potential of the digital revolution, enabling businesses to transcend geographical barriers and operate in virtual domains. The programme was very interesting and participative also.
