Mr. Samir Kumar Neogi, Managing Director, Neogi Technologies and Research Pvt. Ltd. presented a brief speech on “Innovation in the Indian Context – A Practical Approach” in Faculty Development Programme (FDP) organized by the NSHM institute, Kolkata on 13th April, 2024. Mr. Neogi was invited as the Guest of Honour and was the Key Speaker.

Mr. Neogi in his deliberations extended his thanks and heartfelt gratitude to the esteemed authority of NSHM institute, Kolkata for giving him the scope of sharing the experience of the journey of NTR Pvt. Ltd. over a span of 53 years starting from The South Point to Moonlight Engineering Co. and to Neogi Technologies and Research Pvt. Ltd. under Neogi Group of Companies. In his address, Mr. Neogi also mentioned about the starting of The South Point as Start Up for Repairing and Reconditioning of Fuel Dispensers to the Innovation Driven OEM of Fuel Dispensers and related Fittings and Accessories thus being recognized as Service cum Solution Provider in Fuel Management Sector.

The mission of the company is to manufacture Indigenous, Cost Effective Global Standard Products to achieve highest mark of excellence for its sustainability in this highly competitive market. This long pathway of journey was defined by Hard Work, Continuous Learning, Market Driven Innovation, Skilled Human Resources and Customized Quality Service.

He also mentioned about the different prizes and awards, patents etc. bagged by the company during this long journey.

Mr. Sandip Kumar Neogi, Director was also present in the programme and asked the authority of NHSM to start a University for MSME units. Mr. C R Maitra Consultant, Mr. Tarun Sen of NTR Pvt. Ltd. was also present in the session.
